The iPhone has the advantage that there are many, many photography apps available for it.. and I use them a lot. They are the first and only paid apps I ever downloaded:

CameraBag (€2,39)
Polarize (gratis)
Photogene (€2,39)
FocalLab (1,59)

..and QuadCamera (€1,59), but you don’t see any photos made with that app here.
(clicking the link will take you directly to the app in the iTunes store)

Soon the new iPhone, the iPhone 3Gs, will be available. It will have 3 megapixels instead of 2, autofocus, auto white balance and exposure and “macro” (10 cm distance is the closest it can get) And, last but not least, video. Too bad I’ stuck with this one for another year. Oh well, such is life…

1 month of daily iPhone photos

A month ago I started making and uploading a daily iPhone photo. I had no idea how long I was going to keep up with it. Some days I couldn't choose and made 2 photos "iPhone photo of today" (which is why there are more photos here than you might expect), some days I had to come up with something late at night.. and thus, of course, some days had better results than others.

Photographing a lot with a simple camera like the iPhone camera forces you to look around you all the time, to create compositions, try something different and crazy. This is not about making A0 prints of course, this is about making photographs.

I joined the Flickr group "365 iPhone Challenge", so I plan on keeping this up a little while longer...
